Nashville’s Epoxy Floor Coating Specialists

Nashville Epoxy Floor Pros is a locally owned floor coating company serving the Greater Nashville area — including Brentwood, Franklin, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, Smyrna, Gallatin, Spring Hill, and Mount Juliet. We specialize exclusively in epoxy and polyaspartic floor coatings, which means every installer on our crew does this work every single day. No landscaping on the side. No general contracting. Just floors.

We start every project with diamond grinding — not acid etching — because the concrete surface profile is the single biggest factor in whether a coating sticks for fifteen years or peels in two. After grinding, we roll on a moisture-tolerant primer, broadcast flake or metallic pigment, and finish with a polyaspartic topcoat rated for UV stability and hot-tire resistance. You get a floor that looks like a showroom and holds up like a warehouse.

Every quote is done in writing after an on-site inspection — not over the phone. We scope the slab condition, measure moisture vapor emission, and walk you through exactly what prep the concrete needs before we name a number. No surprise change orders. Call (615) 395-6130 to schedule your free inspection today.

Why Nashville Garage Floors Need a Professional Coating

Nashville’s climate creates three specific challenges for bare concrete garage floors that homeowners don’t see coming until the damage is done.

Humidity and moisture vapor emission. Nashville sits in the Cumberland River basin with average summer humidity above 70%. Slab-on-grade garage floors in newer construction communities like Spring Hill (37174) and Mount Juliet (37122) often show elevated moisture vapor emission rates — sometimes 8–12 lbs per 1,000 sq ft per 24 hours on new pours. A coating installed without a moisture-tolerant primer on a high-MVE slab will blister and delaminate within months. We test every slab before we prime.

Hot-tire pickup. Tennessee summers push garage slab temperatures above 90°F on a clear afternoon. When you park a hot vehicle on a budget epoxy paint kit from a big-box store, the softened resin sticks to the tire and pulls up in sheets when you back out. Our polyaspartic topcoat is formulated for hot-tire resistance up to 140°F — it handles Nashville summers without a mark.

New-construction concrete. The growth boom in Murfreesboro (37129), Smyrna (37167), and Franklin (37064) means millions of square feet of new garage floors are being poured every year. New concrete needs a full 28-day cure before coating, and many new-build garages also come with contamination from curing compounds that must be ground off before any coating will bond. We know what to look for on slabs less than a year old.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does an epoxy garage floor take to install?

Most residential garage floors take two days. Day one is diamond grinding and primer. Day two is the base coat, flake broadcast, and polyaspartic topcoat. We return your garage to use in 24–48 hours after the topcoat is applied, depending on temperature and humidity. Polyaspartic-only systems can be completed in one day with a 24-hour cure time.

Do you serve Brentwood, Franklin, and Murfreesboro?

Yes — all three are in our primary service area. We work regularly in the Cool Springs corridor in Brentwood (37027), downtown Franklin and the newer subdivisions on the east side (37064), and the fast-growing Murfreesboro market near the I-840 loop (37129). We also serve Hendersonville, Smyrna, Gallatin, Spring Hill, Mount Juliet, and the 37203 zip code in Nashville proper.

What’s the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?

Epoxy is a two-part system cured by chemical reaction. It’s excellent for adhesion and building thick coats but takes longer to cure and can yellow under UV over time. Polyaspartic is a newer technology with faster cure, higher UV resistance, and better hot-tire performance. Most of our garage floor systems use an epoxy base coat for build and bonding, topped with a polyaspartic topcoat for durability. Calling it “epoxy” is common shorthand for the industry — the topcoat is usually polyaspartic.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. Our systems carry a 15-year product warranty on the polyaspartic topcoat and a 5-year workmanship warranty. The workmanship warranty is transferable to a new owner if you sell the home — something most franchise competitors won’t do. Call (615) 395-6130 for full warranty terms in writing.

Can you epoxy a floor in winter in Tennessee?

Yes, with the right prep. Epoxy requires a concrete temperature above 50°F and rising — typically not a problem in Nashville from March through November. In December–February we schedule cold-weather installs during daytime highs and use temperature-appropriate formulas. We do not coat floors when the slab is below 50°F or when rain is forecast within 24 hours of application.

How do I get a quote?

Call (615) 395-6130 or fill out the contact form on our contact page. We schedule a free on-site inspection, measure the slab, test moisture, check for contaminants, and deliver a written line-item quote within 24 hours. We do not quote over the phone — a phone number without seeing the slab produces a number that’s wrong about 30% of the time, and we’d rather give you one accurate number than two that force a re-negotiation.
